Family matters most!

I haven't blog anything about my past weeks yet and so here it is..

Last August 26, we, in Amici wento Ate Jona's post birthday celebration in Las Pinas. Of course we had food and drinks. What do you expect. LOL. That night's highlight was that in the middle of our drinking, someone from Ate Jona's Family went inside calling Andrei, my friend, and told him that his car got bumped by their neighbor's pick-up van. It's a Hilux if I'm not mistaken. His van was fine, no scratch or anything. But Andrei's adventure was like this

The one who've hit the car assured us that he'll shoulder everything. so no problem with that. :-)

The day after that night, I wasn't able to go to work until Sunday. Due to some stuffs. So anyway, I reported back to work, Monday, everything is just so weird and annoying. I don't wanna go blogging about my feeling at work but trust it's something you don't wanna hear cause it was just plain annoying non-sense stuff, to be honest. 

But let us go talk about the happiest part of my week. :-) yeah? After reporting to work after my 2 days absences, there I go again took a 2 days off. That was kinda funny. So anyway, I spent Tuesdays and Wednesday at Folks house. Ashley has no Gymboree class last Tuesday, which makes me wanted to cry for her cause I've seen her face, she was sad from disappointment. We went malling instead. :-)

A's first formal class at Gymboree - Level 3

As you all know (let's pretend you guys know) Wednesday is my permanent day off. (why hello stalkers, yes, Wednesday it is) I requested to have it every Tuesday since Ashley's schedule at Gymboree is every Tuesday at 2pm. :-)

So last August 16, 2011 was her first formal class in Gymboree. The first ones were just a free trial class. Here are some photos taken during her class.

Today's lesson: Tunnel crawling.

The lesson for today is to teach them babies to crawl inside the tunnel. It is to develop their crawling skills and to also make them comfortable crawling or passing through small spaces. 

We arrived earlier than 2 o'clock in the afternoon just so Ashley could adjust to the place before having her class. Mommy Tip: Always arrived to a new place with your baby earlier than the scheduled time so that your baby can adjust to the place and feel comfortable afterwards.

After a few minutes her class starts. Here are some pictures.

And now, It's Tunnel crawling time!!!

I'm so proud of her. She's not scared to try things and she easily follow instructions from her Teacher as if she understands everything. :-)

And here the babies were told to stay above the parachute while their Teacher blew some bubbles. :-)

All in all, her first day was a success. They were not just taught how to play, how to climb and slide. Sooner Ashley will learn how to pack away her toys after playing and how to listen and follow instructions from grown-ups. :-) 

Side story:  After her class, we went grocery shopping and head off to Hillsborough for an early dinner for Kuya Gino and Ate Via before they leave for Singapore. I kinda helped Ate Farrah preparing the dinner. I'm so proud of Ate Farrah! She now knows how to cook. He He He. And not only that she cooks good food. Really yummy! :-)

We had Greek Salad, Chicken roll-ups stuffed with cream cheese and basil (the works :p), Tomato rice pilaf and deconstructed Apple pie with butter oats crumble.

Another day with Ashley.

So today was my day off to work and it only means.. FUN DAY WITH ASHLEY!!! :-)

We leave the house at around 1:30pm, went to Gymboree. As you all know.. Ashley just turned 1 year old and her Ninong Gino and Tita Via will enroll her to Gymboree as their gift to her. I am so thankful and excited! :-) We first inquired what class suits her age and we also asked for the schedules of the classes since my schedule was fixed already.

After a not-so-long conversation with  Teacher May, She recommend to Ashley the Music1 class scheduled tomorrow at 2pm. It's a free trial class. In that way we'll be able to see if this class will suit her interests at her age.

Arrived Alabang Town Center to get my salary. and Yes, I 'm still waiting for the replacement of my lost Cash Card from BDO.
